Multi-day partner summit in Kuala Lumpur attended by key APJ partners including awards night and conference
Bitdefender is a cybersecurity software leader delivering best-in-class threat prevention, detection, and response solutions worldwide. Each year, it hosts a Channel Summit to reward the top-performing partners and incentivize stronger performance via its new solutions and partner program offerings.
Challenge
With its new ANZ territory, Bitdefender needed to find a viable city to run its Channel Summit that was convenient for all its partners, while keeping it within budget and exciting for all attendees. The client also requested for extra side activities to maximize the networking opportunities with all its global employees and partners meeting for the first time.
What we did
A. Multi-city cost and flight convenience comparison
Using the BSY Creative Events Platform, we presented Hanoi, Kuala Lumpur, Bali, Phuket, and Jakarta as options, taking into consideration flight timings and total cost of flights and accommodation. This made it easy for Bitdefender to settle on Kuala Lup
B. End-to-end guest and program management
Our production team ran the entire AV and lights, while our RSVP team managed the varying check in/out arrangements of all guests, including various dietary requirements, trophies, swag customization, and vendor arrangements. The awards dinner included a live jazz band, a magunatip bamboo dance performance, and a panel discussion.
C. Multiple bonus activities to build rapport and team morale
With over 80 guests in attendance, BSY arranged a MasterChef team challenge involving sushi- making, testing guests on their creativity and culinary skills. Beyond this team building activity, we organized an internal kickoff for all internal teams, culminating in a team dinner in the heart of Kuala Lumpur’s Chinatown.
